REMINISCE

New jersey’s #1 Oldies Show and Dance Band

Michael Gennari

An up and coming performer in both the New Jersey and New York City music scenes, Mike Gennari is a recent graduate from New Jersey City University, having majored in Music Education and Woodwind Doubling.   In addition to his work on saxophones, he is also an accomplished performer on bassoon, clarinets and flutes, making him one of New Jersey's prominent Low-Reed Specialists.

Mike was a featured saxophone soloist in the pit of NJPAC's month-long run of "Smokey Joe's Cafe," and was seen playing as part of Joan Rivers’ backup band in Livingston, NJ.  More recently, Mike could be seen performing in local musicals such as "The Music Man," and "The Drowsy Chaperone," as well as playing soprano with "The Empty Sky Saxophone Quartet," based out of Jersey City.  As a newer addition to Reminisce, as well as being one of “the young guys,” Mike is excited to be bringing his skills as a performer to the classics of Rock 'n' Roll.
