REMINISCE

New jersey’s #1 Oldies Show and Dance Band

Jack Falzarano

As a youngster in Lyndhurst, NJ, Jack “Falz” would listen to WMCA and WABC-AM on a transistor radio everywhere he went.  He never forgot those sounds from performers like the Platters and Chuck Berry.  He took up guitar during the summer of '66 and honed his guitar skills during his high school years, playing at dances and “battles of the bands” with groups called "The Shadds", "Front Page News" and "Freedom".

In ‘71 he was in a rock group called “Honey Junk,” playing alongside Johnny Stixxx, and later, Bob Cavallaro.  In the late 70‘s, Jack studied music at William Patterson College and played the local "lounge" circuit. He also worked as a sound engineer for a popular club band "The Watch".  Jack took a break from music for about 20 years, devoting himself to his family and video production business.

More recently, Jack has produced and engineered CDs for the bands "BD Mylo & the GoDaddys", "Flipside the Band", and artists Mark Bodino and Deja Elise. In 2005 Jack began playing gigs again, playing both bass and guitar.  He worked as a sub for Reminisce and became the band's full time bass player in 2011. After almost 40 years, Jack Falz, Johnny Stixxx Deliso and Bob Cavallaro are playing in the same band again.  Who knew?

"I have always wanted to work in a band like this, but never had the opportunity. So now I’m really loving it!”  –  Jack
